Public domain trust score v1

Published on 20.08.2026. This URL permanently describes the assessment basis of stored results and is not retrospectively reinterpreted.

Binding principles

  1. Seven categories are assessed separately; unknown and inapplicable values are never counted as passed.
  2. An overall grade requires at least 50 percent weighted data coverage and remains tied to the stored assessment profile.
  3. Anonymous checks use only public DNS data and narrowly limited, validated, IP-pinned HTTPS on port 443.
  4. Active SMTP, submission, IMAP, POP3 or arbitrary port checks require domain verification and explicit authorization.
  5. The score is a technical snapshot, not a certificate, delivery promise or legal or compliance assessment.
  6. Monthly landscape reports use only completed qualifying one-off checks, deduplicate by domain and publish only anonymized aggregates.
